Artist's Comments

Uhm, okay.

I think, I have to explain the intention behind this stamp:

I hesitated, if I should really upload this stamp.
Not because of it's quality, rather because of the fact, that some people could understand it in a wrong way, maybe insultive.

Let's say:
I'm always happy, when I receive messages about comments or favs.
It makes me glad to hear "awesome!". Always.
But I don't profite from just a one-word comment. Hearing that some of my works are good, is nice - but as an artist, who spends his time to realize an idea and really tried to make it look good, I would rather like to hear why you like my work, what you like on it or what could be done better.

I don't want to attack people who write just one word.
I thank you, that you comment deviations at all.
But I also beg you for going more into detail when you wanna tell your opinion.

I think, you would be happier if someone says, what especially he likes on your work, so that you can keep working in the particular way, because you know that it's good and people like it.

That's all I wanted to say with this stamp.
And I hope, that you don't understand it as an attack but rather as an advice.

Thank you.

:bulletred:Edit:
I found a wonderful guide for writing a comment.
Please read it.
I think, we all profit from it. Or let's say: We all profit from good comments and critique.

Oh how I understand this one.

Complementing Comments are great and all, but y'know... It's nice to know what's so great about the work.

Of course, constructive comments and compliments are always better than just outright flaming too.

And where will that get you?
The same place it got everybody else...

Nowhere.

And why should it matter? I'm already dead inside...

I'm glad, that you didn't understand it in a wrong way.

You gave a very thorough description in the author's comments.
It helped define exactly what the stamp was saying.

I read the arcticle and ended here in your beautiful stamp

I want to hug it *-*

I rather prefer a hard critique than an AWEZUM, DUDE! I try to learn from critiques and I don't mind what my ego expects -.-

:+fav:

Spread this stamp!!!

I happy, that i'm not the only one with this opinion.
And I'm also happy about your :+fav:!
Thanks a lot!

I'm faving this stamp because I share the same sentiment. I appreciate all comments since people are actually taking time to type in a comment. But really, it's much nicer when they can elaborate on why they like the piece they're commenting on rather than just leaving an emoticon. These days though, too many people comment as if it's a text message...^^
